so here we have that age old bit of folklore that corn must be "knee high by the Fourth of July." We're right on target!

Wonderful colors to look at and poems to read from Sharon. Here in Maryland our corn is shoulder high now. But we are in the midst of a very hot and dry period, with not much rain in sight. So if you love plants, like I do you are worried for them. I water those near the house and they smile the next morning -- for a while.
