SKY WOMAN
Digital Photo Collage by S. Auberle
A sky woman I will be, flying off to the West tomorrow, assuming an approaching snowstorm allows it. Like this beautiful Native poem, I will admire cloud shapes, hope they bring thoughts and words, for a first poem of this new year, this new decade. None have yet arrived. Inspiration is needed. What better than the friendly skies? There will be a new poem, I'm sure, when I return...

Sharon, what a lovely poem and painting--did you do the painting? I have a daily meditation book that is Native American and it has such neat things in it. Good flying!
Jackie
