I awaken sometimes
on a snowy night
and wonder
for a moment
what lifetime is this
what place
what season
and was there
once a moment
among bees
and golden flowers
when someone
caught a glimpse
of my soul?
I question
did the trees
that day
really hold
so much light
and why
with all this music
are we not
supposed to dance?
