A POEM JUST HAPPENED BY
There's a blaze of light in every word
it doesn't matter which you heard
the holy or the broken Hallelujah…
~ Leonard Cohen
on this still leafless
May morning
boy on a bike
riding down the road
no hands Hallelujah
blazing forth
his voice fracturing
like first brave
blossom shattering
it's heart seed
to break through
toward morning light

Hi Sharon - we read one of your beautiful poems out loud at an Earth Day event at our labyrinth and have included it in our post about the day. We are hoping that this is OK with you? Let us know. hello Christine, not only is it okay with me, but I am honored to have my poem read at your beautiful labyrinth...I am very much a believer in the history and mystery of labyrinths. Thank you so much!
(which poem did you read?)
Hi again, Cristine,
I see from the blog that it was my poem "Prayer for Village Earth" a personal favorite of mine...again, thanks for sharing my poem at this very special place and time...
