* myosotis sylvatica, who comes in
where the land is disturbed...
your ovaries are superior,
though in short style,
you are hairy, entire,
sessile, and alternate
and you contain nutlets.
Honestly, I don't know
whether all this is socially acceptable,
I only know you tug at my heart
with your tender, winsome ways
and welcome the newborn fawn
wobbling down the paths
of your sweet blue blossoms.
